About The Position

Bridgewater Associates is seeking a Campus Talent Associate to identify, assess, and recruit exceptional early-career talent for the Investment Associate role. This position requires a strategic approach to sourcing, rigorous assessment of candidates, and authentic representation of Bridgewater. The associate will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from strategy and sourcing to relationship building, assessment, and closing offers. The role emphasizes understanding the unique profile of Investment Associates and identifying candidates who will thrive in Bridgewater's culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (any field of study).
  • 3+ years of experience in a demanding, fast-paced environment – recruiting, talent, or otherwise.
  • Genuine hunger to find great people and understand what makes them tick.
  • Sharp judgment and the intellectual horsepower to assess the caliber of talent.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, energized by hard problems, and relentlessly honest.
  • Track record of building trust with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions through credibility.
  • Self-directed and accountable, taking ownership of development, outcomes, and mistakes.

Responsibilities

  • Command a deep understanding of the Investment Associate profile and build rubrics for assessment, calibrating with senior investors.
  • Design and execute search strategies to find university talent through overlooked channels and source candidates directly.
  • Develop a calibrated view of what great talent looks like, going beyond resumes to build a nuanced perspective on each candidate's strengths and gaps.
  • Represent Bridgewater with integrity on campuses and in all candidate interactions, providing an accurate picture of the firm.
  • Manage the full offer process with care, ensuring candidates have the information needed to make informed decisions.
  • Evolve the recruiting approach using data, qualitative signals, and judgment to sharpen search, assessment, and hiring processes.
