About The Position

Solace is seeking an exceptional University Talent Recruiter to help build a strong early-career pipeline. This role is part of a growing team and reports to the University and Early Career Recruiting Coordinator. The recruiter will be the first point of contact for students and recent graduates, setting the tone for their experience with Solace. The primary responsibilities include speaking with candidates, conducting structured screens, assessing fit, and communicating expectations. The role also involves guiding candidates through offers, ensuring a smooth decision process, and partnering with hiring managers on program design for the first 90 days. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, communicates clearly, and excels at execution and candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of recruiting experience (agency or in-house)
  • Interest in or experience recruiting early-career or university talent
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of candidate interactions with consistency and care
  • Strong communication skills—clear, warm, and direct, especially in candidate conversations
  • Ability to make thoughtful, efficient decisions on candidate progression
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and reporting (Ashby preferred)
  • Willingness to travel during peak recruiting seasons
  • A strong sense of ownership and follow-through, taking responsibility for outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a high volume of structured recruiter screens with university candidates across multiple roles
  • Assess candidate alignment based on core criteria, potential, and long-term fit with Solace
  • Clearly and thoughtfully communicate the opportunity, helping candidates understand both the role and our mission
  • Own offer conversations, including negotiations, extensions, and guiding candidates through close
  • Maintain organized pipelines with accurate tracking and timely follow-up
  • Use ATS data (Ashby preferred) to monitor pipeline health and stay on top of progress
  • Support sourcing efforts when needed to help build strong candidate pools
  • Travel to campus events and recruiting initiatives during peak seasons (August–November)
