About The Position

The Campus Recruiter drives the recruitment and selection efforts for the internship program in collaboration with the broader internship team. This role is responsible for developing and executing campus, internal, and online recruiting strategies that align with the district’s selection, contract, and conversion standards. The Campus Recruiter analyzes recruitment metrics, recommends improvements, and ensures accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This position plays a key role in fostering a positive internship culture by engaging office staff and leadership to support and promote the program. The recruiter’s efforts contribute to the overall success of the program, from sourcing high-quality candidates to facilitating a smooth transition from internship to full-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Internship Development Officer and office internship team to set and execute annual standards and strategies for recruiting aligned with the broader network office vision.
  • Report on recruitment performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
  • Foster a positive internship culture within the office by engaging Financial Representatives and staff to actively promote the program.
  • Provide leadership with regular updates on recruitment progress, challenges, and key milestones.
  • Own and execute the Recruiting Core Component of the “Annual Internship Calendar” at the district level, ensuring that all key events and recruiting tasks are scheduled and implemented efficiently.
  • Build and manage relationships with on-campus centers of influence (COIs) (professors, department heads, athletics, career services, and student organizations).
  • Coordinate and attend on-campus recruiting activities, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality candidates.
  • Create a year-round campus engagement strategy and events calendar.
  • Develop effective referral sources both within the office and on campus, leveraging current and former interns, Financial Representatives, staff, and leaders.
  • Meet regularly with MD/DD, CUDs, and GDDs to assist in the strategies and execution of each leader’s personally sourced lead commitments.
  • Promote the internship program through strategic marketing efforts (social media, online job postings, and campus events, etc.).
  • Maintain and develop recruitment and marketing materials to support office recruiting efforts.
  • Identify ideal internship candidates by actively searching online platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, etc.
  • Review resumes, screen candidates, schedule, and conduct initial interviews to evaluate program fit.
  • Serve as the main contact for candidates throughout the selection process, communicating key details about the program and administering selection tools (e.g., Culture Index, Market Surveys).
  • Collaborate with the College Unit Director (CUD), Contract, Licensing, and Registration (CLR) Coordinator, and leadership to ensure seamless onboarding for interns.
  • Lead recruiting portion of weekly internship team meetings.
  • Attend leadership meetings, workshops, and trainings to support continuous development and alignment with office standards.
  • Ensure efficient use of Applicant Tracking System software to manage candidate databases and accurate records of prospects.
  • Prepare recruitment performance reports for leadership and collaborate with the internship team on setting annual standards for recruitment and conversion.
  • Consistently achieve intern contract and conversion standards.
  • Build a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates through targeted marketing, on-campus events, and online recruitment strategies.
  • Establish and maintain a robust network of on-campus relationships to continuously source top talent.
  • Enhance awareness and visibility of the internship program through effective marketing initiatives.

Benefits

  • Base Salary 60,000-65,000
  • Bonuses based on recruitment activity, contract achievements, and intern conversions.
