Campus Support Aide
About The Position
The Nativity School, serving preschool through eighth grade, is seeking a faith-filled, responsible, and adaptable Campus Support Aide. The role helps maintain a smooth, safe, and positive school day by supporting the school community and shifting between instructional and supervisory duties. The position is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt, with a pay rate of $22.50–$25.00 per hour. It is located at 6309 El Apajo Rd, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067, and reports to the Principal. The aide may substitute in classes across all grade levels, support teachers, supervise and escort students, and assist with daily routines. The work involves regular classroom duties and mobility throughout the school and preschool environment, with occasional attendance at trainings or workshops at locations around the city or county. The Nativity School is part of the Catholic Diocese of San Diego and is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree.
- Understand child development and have the skills necessary to relate to the students served.
- Use the classroom management system and techniques established for the classroom.
- Work cooperatively with staff members.
- Be organized and attentive to detail.
- Be flexible and able to pivot between tasks.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor.
- Communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Have the ability to work with technology.
- Respect and understand a Catholic school philosophy.

- Active, practicing Roman Catholic (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Substitute for classes as needed across preschool through eighth grade, delivering lessons and maintaining a respectful learning environment.
- Support teachers as needed to allow for breaks and preparation time.
- Escort and supervise students throughout the day.
- Assist with daily routines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
