About The Position

InterVarsity seeks a Campus Staff Minister (CSM) to help plant and build witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus on college and university campuses. The role supports the transformation of students and faculty from all ethnic groups, the flourishing of campus communities, and the development of alumni who become change agents. A CSM discerns and participates in what God is doing on campus while developing as a disciple and leading ministry teams and communities. The CSM grows witnessing communities and strengthens their size, health, spiritual maturity, and campus-wide influence. This involves communicating InterVarsity’s vision, setting and pursuing ministry goals, building and aligning teams and structures, developing students and faculty as participants and leaders, and creating opportunities for people to encounter and follow Jesus. The position also involves collaboration with local, area, regional, and national staff and volunteers; ministry reporting and planning; and raising financial support through a team of partners. The role leads ministry in a college campus environment and requires travel to campus and off-campus ministry, partnership, and training activities.
