About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring campus activities to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors. The Campus Security Monitor will observe and report any suspicious activities, enforce school policies, and respond to emergencies as needed. This role requires vigilance, good judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with students and adults.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to observe and recall details accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
• Must be able to complete a full seven-year work history, including periods of unemployment, in the 'Experience and Credential' section of the application.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a school environment.
• First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor campus grounds, buildings, and parking lots for safety and security.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential security threats.
• Enforce school rules and regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed.
• Report incidents and maintain logs of activities.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment for students and staff.
