About The Position
This is a right-to-return-only Campus Security Monitor position at Arbor View High School. The assignment is 9 months and 7 hours. Candidates selected must complete Clark County School District Campus Security Monitor training before their start date. Training includes online modules, a physical agility test, and a full-day defensive tactics training. Successful trainees must maintain their Campus Security Monitor certificate for the duration of the assignment. Applicants must submit a separate Right-to-Return request form for each position before the advertisement closes on October 29, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Applicants must provide the required education, identification, CPR/AED certification, and evidence of relevant training and experience with their application.
Requirements
- High school graduation or an equivalent credential, such as a GED or foreign equivalency.
- Experience working with children and youth.
- Complete CCSD Campus Security Monitor training before the start date, including online modules, a physical agility test, and full-day defensive tactics training.
- Maintain a Campus Security Monitor certificate for the duration of the assignment.
- Hold a valid driver's license or state-issued identification card.
- Hold a current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or a similar organization, and maintain it for the duration of the assignment. Certification training must be in person and include a hands-on component; online courses are not accepted.
- Upload copies of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate with the application.
- Provide a high school transcript or equivalent credential, a copy of a valid driver's license or state-issued identification card, a current CPR/AED certificate, and specific documented evidence of training and experience with the application.
Nice To Haves
- Current Clark County School District Campus Security Monitor certificate, if already acquired; it must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
- Provide a copy of a current CCSD Campus Security Monitor certificate with the application, if already in possession.
