About The Position

This is a right-to-return-only Campus Security Monitor position assigned to Arbor View High School. The assignment is 9 months and 7 hours. Candidates selected must complete CCSD Campus Security Monitor training before their start date. Training includes online modules, a physical agility test, and a full-day defensive tactics training. Successful trainees must maintain their Campus Security Monitor certificate for the duration of the assignment.

To exercise the right to return, applicants must submit a Right-to-Return request form before the advertisement closes on October 29, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. A separate form is required for each position. After the advertisement closes, HR will review those who expressed their right to the position and send notifications.

Requirements

• High school graduation or an equivalent, such as a GED or foreign equivalency.
• Experience working with children and youth.
• A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
• A current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or a similar organization; it must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Certification training must be in person and include a hands-on component; online courses are not accepted.
• A current Clark County School District Campus Security Monitor certificate, if already acquired; it must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
• Submit a high school transcript or equivalent, a copy of a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card, a copy of the front and back of the current CPR/AED certification, and a current CCSD Campus Security Monitor Certificate if already possessed.
• Provide specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
• Complete CCSD Campus Security Monitor training before the start date, including online modules, a physical agility test, and a full-day defensive tactics training.
