About The Position

Renewal Church in Sarasota, Florida, is seeking a Revitalization Pastor in Residence to help extend the church’s Kingdom impact by supporting Christian and Missionary Alliance congregations in the region that want to develop a new season of health and local mission. The position is a two-year, full-time staff residency at Renewal Church, with the goal of continuing as a full-time Lead Pastor at the revitalized congregation.

The ideal candidate has previous church leadership experience at an elder or pastoral staff level and a heart for reaching unchurched people. They should be willing to receive coaching and development in Renewal’s ministry model and culture. Mentors will help the resident form and execute a clear ministry strategy, and the Alliance Southeast will provide additional coaching in disciple making, leadership development, soul care, and community engagement.

Candidates must be able to meet Christian and Missionary Alliance licensing and ordination requirements, including having completed at least 30 hours of theological education at an accredited school or through a C&MA-approved program. Requirements
