About The Position

Arc Broward is hiring a per-diem Campus Monitor at the Bright Horizons Center in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The position works Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and pays $16.50 per hour. The role supports students’ safety and well-being on campus, including during drop-off and pickup, and follows applicable laws and School Board policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Four years of total work experience, including at least one year working with students.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with students to analyze situations related to student activity and security.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• Successful Level II background check, physical, and drug screen.
• At least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and visual presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with students’ transportation needs as they are dropped off or wait for pickup by parents or paratransit services.
• Support district-wide security and safety measures to promote the overall safety of children on campus.
• Provide the supervision and care needed to maintain individuals’ safety and well-being.
• Follow federal and state laws and School Board policies.
