Hillel of Colorado is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven professional to work in a metro-Denver Hillel team to assure solid programming and engage students at both the Golden, CO Colorado School of Mines and downtown Denver Auraria campuses. This full-time role will focus on building meaningful student relationships, creating engaging Jewish experiences, and building vibrant campus communities across two unique campus environments. Approximately two-thirds of this role will focus on Colorado School of Mines, where the professional will help continue the rapid growth of Jewish life through student engagement, Shabbat and holiday programming, leadership development, and campus relationship-building. The remaining one-third of the role will support Auraria Hillel through strategic engagement and program implementation in partnership with the Auraria Hillel Director. Working closely with students and professional staff, this person will help shape a pluralistic, welcoming, and entrepreneurial Jewish community experience across both campuses. This role is for someone who is energized by relationship-building, enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, and is excited to help students create meaningful Jewish community during college. The ideal candidate is energized by building something growing and evolving, and excited by the opportunity to experiment, innovate, and help shape campus Jewish life in meaningful ways. Our Hillel, now with four staffed campuses, is one of over 500+ North American affiliates of Hillel International and an independent 501(c)3, is a multi-campus Jewish student engagement organization that strengthens college students’ connections to Jewish life by providing programs and engagement opportunities in our warm, welcoming homes-away-from-home for 2,500+ Jewish college students and their friends in Colorado. This role may be a great fit for you if you’re excited to make an impact on Jewish life in our students and help create leaders of today and tomorrow; if you bring strong Jewish cultural competency; if Hillel’s mission, vision, and goals resonate deeply with you; if you have the required skills and are committed to continuous professional growth; if you’re a compassionate team player who finds joy in inspiring others; and if you’re eager to contribute your expertise to strengthening our organizational culture.
