Campus Director of Environmental Services
About The Position
We are looking for a Director of Environmental Services to oversee the overall responsibility for campus buildings and grounds, in addition to overseeing environmental services at the Care Center (SNF). Environmental Services in the SNF includes but is not limited to laundry, housekeeping, custodial, and maintenance staff, ensuring that the facility is a clean, safe, and odor-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position includes 80 hours every two weeks, Monday through Friday, and a full benefits package. Celebrating 135 years of service, Jones-Harrison Senior Living is conveniently located close to the metro bus stops off Cedar Lake Ave./Drew Ave. S. and Cedar Lake Ave./France Ave. S. in Minneapolis. The Jones-Harrison community offers Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care with a beautiful view of Cedar Lake and pristine grounds. This community features 53 Assisted living, 9 memory care apartments, 120 skilled and long term care beds. Requirements
- Associate of Arts Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
- One to Three Years Experience with mechanical equipment
- Special Class C Boilers License within 1 Year
- Current Driver’s License (in good standing)
- Medical Exam Certification
- Must be at least 18-years old
- Must be insurable under the employers Auto Insurance Coverage
- Must complete and pass in-house transportation curriculum course and pass driving evaluation. within 30 Days
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors degree in Plant Maintenance or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Supervises the SNF Environmental Services Department including but not limited to housekeeping, laundry, custodial, and maintenance staff
- Develops and maintains a Preventative Maintenance Program for the Campus
- Promotes a safe work environment
- Responsible for Ebenezer Van/Bus maintenance and upkeep
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policy and standards
