About The Position

Campus Ambassadors are enrolled, undergraduate students who represent Water for Good on their respective college campuses through hosting awareness events, presenting in classes and clubs, and conducting fundraisers. Campus Ambassadors experience the mission and culture of Water for Good through monthly consultations, team prayer time, online resources, and the opportunity to go on a summer Vision Trip to our programs. Campus Ambassador term length is one academic year.

Requirements

  • Passion for Water for Good’s mission of transforming lives through sustainable access to safe water, as well as improved sanitation and hygiene, in places that need it most
  • Currently enrolled undergraduate student at college or university in Northwest Arkansas throughout ambassador term
  • 2.0 GPA
  • Ability to attend required training at beginning of each semester
  • Reliable and professional communication with organization and supervisor
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • Available for expected time commitment: 2-4 hours per week
  • Connections with student organizations, campus ministries, or major programs

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership experience (club officer, ministry leader, resident assistant, student government, etc.)
  • Event-planning experience
  • Social media or marketing skills
  • Volunteer and fundraising experience

Responsibilities

  • Hosting one fundraising event/semester
  • Hosting two awareness events/semester
  • Presenting three times/semester in classes, sororities/fraternities/clubs, campus ministries, faculty groups, etc.
  • Advertise events on social media and campus channels
  • Consult and communicate with Water for Good staff throughout program
