About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, and helping customers make informed buying decisions. The associate works under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to move objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally lift or move objects up to 100 pounds or more using a team lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt customer service and support a productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products to customers and maintain ongoing product knowledge.
• Help customers identify and evaluate their needs and recommend suitable products.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of advertised sales and keep pricing and signing accurate.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
