About The Position

Ellucian is seeking a Marketing Campaign Manager to join their team, reporting to the Director of Campaign Strategy. This role will be responsible for shaping how Ellucian engages with higher education institutions by driving integrated, multi-channel campaigns that support complex buyer journeys and influence key decision-makers. The Campaign Marketing Manager will own campaign strategy and execution end-to-end, developing persona-driven programs across digital, events, email, and more, while ensuring alignment across messaging, channels, and business priorities. The work will directly impact pipeline creation and acceleration, helping institutions discover and adopt solutions that advance student success. This is a highly collaborative role requiring partnership with Solutions Marketing, Digital, Field Marketing, Sales, and Marketing Operations to deliver measurable results. The role will leverage data, insights, and modern marketing technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to continuously optimize campaign performance and scale impact. This is an opportunity to play a key role in driving growth while making a meaningful difference in the ed-tech space.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in demand generation or campaign management.
  • 3+ years in SaaS, technology, or IT-related industries.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong ability to use data and insights to guide campaign strategy, optimization, and business outcomes.
  • Strong project/program management skills with the ability to drive planning and ensure flawless execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build rapport with core stakeholders and team members.
  • Highly motivated, accountable, and proactive.
  • Confident in the ability to leverage available resources to deliver results and meet KPIs.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, Monday.com, 6Sense, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns aligned to the higher-education buyer journey, ensuring consistent messaging, strong CTAs, and a cohesive prospect experience across email, digital media, paid social, events (live/virtual), and direct mail.
  • Lead end-to-end campaign planning and orchestration across teams, channels, and timelines, aligning dependencies, messaging, and follow-up models to business priorities and complex buying groups.
  • Own campaign performance from planning through optimization, driving measurable MQL and MOP contribution to pipeline and continuously evaluating and refining programs to accelerate funnel conversion.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure accurate attribution, funnel tracking (engagement → MQL → MOP), and data hygiene across Salesforce and Marketo, using insights to inform scaling and refinement.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Marketing, Corporate Strategy, and Digital to deploy persona-aligned, compelling content, leveraging AI tools to accelerate content repurposing, campaign builds, performance analysis, and lifecycle extension.
  • Enable Field Marketing, Sales, and SDR teams with clear positioning, target audiences, assets, and follow-up guidance to convert engagement into pipeline.
  • Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Solutions Marketing, Digital Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement, etc.
