About The Position

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) is seeking a Campaign Manager, Visionaries of the Year (VOY) to lead their Halifax market. This role involves driving one of Canada's impactful fundraising campaigns by recruiting, inspiring, and coaching influential community leaders who compete to raise funds for blood cancer research and support programs. The Visionaries of the Year campaign is a 10-week competition where candidates leverage their networks and influence to fundraise, culminating in a Grand Finale celebration. The Campaign Manager will be central to building relationships, coaching candidates, mobilizing volunteers, and ensuring fundraising success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in fundraising, sales, business development, relationship management, or a similar performance-driven environment
  • Proven ability to recruit, influence, and engage senior-level leaders and volunteers
  • Strong coaching and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently
  • Passion for making a meaningful difference in your community
  • Must reside within the Halifax region
  • Available to attend meetings, events, and donor engagements throughout the market

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage Halifax’s most influential business and community leaders to build a strong pipeline of future Visionaries candidates and volunteer leaders.
  • Provide strategic fundraising guidance, accountability, and motivation to candidates throughout their campaign journey to help them exceed ambitious goals.
  • Cultivate high-value relationships with executive volunteers, corporate partners, sponsors, and donors to strengthen the VOY campaign and expand LLSC’s impact.
  • Recruit, train, and support a high-performing Nominating Committee to identify exceptional candidates and create new opportunities.
  • Connect supporters to the impact of their fundraising by sharing stories of patients, survivors, families, and research breakthroughs.
