About The Position

We are seeking a Camp Manager to provide leadership in financial planning, stewardship, and forecasting. This role involves reviewing financial reports, identifying variations, and implementing corrective actions to achieve budget goals. The Camp Manager will be responsible for food cost and production, as well as room cleaning and janitorial services. Key responsibilities include ensuring the effective utilization and control of assets, developing objectives and plans of action, and creating strategies for optimizing operations and maximizing revenues. Additionally, the role requires managing and utilizing sub-contractors to their highest potential, fostering strong communication with staff and customers, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance of all assets, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and guiding subordinates in achieving organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a remote camp environment
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at managerial level
  • Basic knowledge required in establishing, implementing, and training Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health/Quality Assurance policies and practices
  • Knowledge of equipment and equipment maintenance
  • Collaborate with clients, customers, employees and other stakeholders
  • Solid skills in leadership, organization, planning, innovation and administrative
  • Proven decision-making ability
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Bachelor’s degree, college diploma or relevant experience preferred
