About The Position

The Camp Manager position will work for our client, managing and being the lead chef for a remote man camp that will fluctuate between 5 and 15 people. Requirements

• Prior experience working in a remote camp, construction, oil & gas, mining, or similar environment.
• Strong cooking experience, preferably in group or institutional settings.
• Ability to manage small-scale facilities including generators, water systems, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory control and supply ordering.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve in an isolated environment.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable living and working in remote Alaska conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and perform physical tasks as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Alaska bush or remote Arctic camp experience.
• Food handler certification (ServSafe or equivalent).
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Basic mechanical skills (generator or small engine knowledge).
• Experience supervising a small support team.

Responsibilities

• Cooking lunch and dinner for up to 10 people.
• Managing man camp supplies and rotating existing kitchen inventory to make sure food is efficiently used.
• Ordering supplies in a timely manner to best utilize supply runs.
• Oversight of man camp to include sleeper units, managing generators (turn on and off as needed, alternating generators, checking oil), camp water tank transfers, cleaning bath Connex and oversight of man camp assistant.
• Working with personnel on site and the project manager to identify potential problems
