About The Position

St. Andrew's Parks and Playground is seeking multiple Camp Counselors for its summer camp program. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children and contributing to a team that has a long history of enriching lives through parks, recreation, and wellness. The position is well-suited for those who enjoy caring for and developing children aged 5-12, and it offers valuable experience for those pursuing college majors in Early Education or related fields, while also providing an opportunity to earn money. This is a seasonal position operating during the summer break, located at the gymnasium at 1095 Playground Road. Summer camps will run from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026. Paid pre-camp training sessions are mandatory and will occur on select dates between May 11 and May 29, starting at 6:00 PM and typically concluding by 8:00-9:00 PM. Exceptions to training attendance may be considered on a case-by-case basis with approval from the Program Director. The organization is looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy playing games and engaging in fun activities with children and can commit to half-day or full-day shifts during the summer.

Requirements
