About The Position

Camp counselors are the heart of summer Youth Camp. They lead and support campers in their programs and cabins, setting the tone for studying and applying Christian Science at camp. Counselors teach and facilitate activities in their assigned program area(s) and live in-cabin with campers, positively impacting the cabin atmosphere. Bunkhouse heads additionally plan and direct cabin activities and guide and evaluate cabin counselors and CITs.

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to Christian Science.
• At least 18 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent at time of employment.
• Willingness to uphold high moral and ethical standards.
• Enthusiasm for working with young people with love, patience, and consistency.
• Ability to flexibly support a variety of areas as needs arise.
• Ability to participate in outdoor adventure and recreational activities.
• Ability to live in a cabin with campers and other staff.
