Summer Camp Counselor - Family Fitness Plus
About The Position
St. Andrew's Parks and Playground is seeking several Camp Counselors for its summer camp program at Family Fitness Plus. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children aged 5-12 and eager to contribute to a team that has a long-standing history of enriching lives through parks, recreation, and wellness. It offers a great opportunity to gain experience for those pursuing Early Education or similar college majors while earning income. This is a seasonal position running from June 1, 2026, to July 31, 2026, located at Family Fitness Plus, 1642 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. Paid pre-camp training sessions are mandatory and will occur on select dates between May 11 and May 29, typically from 6:00 PM to 8:00-9:00 PM, though exceptions may be granted with Program Director approval.
Requirements
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to work half-day or full-day shifts during the summer
- Successful completion of required pre-employment screenings (background checks, employment eligibility verification, post-offer drug screening)
