About The Position
YMCA Camp Tippecanoe is seeking enthusiastic individuals to serve as Camp Counselors for the Summer 2026 season. This seasonal position involves the care and supervision of children in a cabin setting, planning and executing camp activities, and being an active member of the staff team. Counselors will teach lessons in various disciplines and must be energetic and committed to a full day of activities.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Completed High School
- Pass background and fingerprint checks

- Background in teaching camp activities
Responsibilities
- Care and supervision of a cabin of 10 children
- Plan and execute lessons and programs
- Be an active and enthusiastic member of the staff team
- Complete on-line, insurance, and at-camp trainings
- Pass background and fingerprint checks
- Sustain energy for a full day of activities
- Work with groups ages 7-9, 10-11, 12-13 or 14-17
- Teach lessons in either art, music, nature, water or sports
