About The Position

VPG is seeking a full-time CAM Programmer – Esprit CAM to join its Production Team. The role creates and maintains CNC programs using Esprit CAM, optimizes tool paths, and supports production by troubleshooting program-related issues. The work covers turning, turn-mill, milling, and multi-tasking machines, including Mazak Integrex i100, with an emphasis on process optimization and production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of CNC programming experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Esprit CAM programming experience.
• Experience with turning, turn-mill, milling, and multi-tasking machines, including Mazak Integrex i100.
• CNC programming and Esprit CAM programming skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process planning and CNC machining.
• Ability to interpret GD&T and perform tooling selection and fixture planning.
• Skills in simulation and verification, production support, and process optimization.
• Knowledge of machine simulation, collision detection, post-processor management, speeds and feeds optimization, and cycle-time estimation.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs using Esprit CAM based on customer drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain machining program revisions, with backups organized by model and machine.
• Optimize tool paths to reduce cycle time while maintaining quality.
• Troubleshoot program-related production issues.
• Support process optimization and production for turning, turn-mill, milling, and multi-tasking machines.
