About The Position

According to customer and internal specifications, creates fabrication tools and documentation for PCB manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand and follow written procedures and instructions in English.
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge of Frontline Genesis 2000 CAM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of TTM-Logan software programs including FastTrak.
  • Employees are required to certify to TTM-Logan process QC #2310 (CAM) within 90 days after their hire or transfer date.
  • Ability to read blueprints; experience working with external customers; understanding of PCB manufacturing process.
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Process and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

  • Implements notes and instructions on PCB fabrication drawings, and meets quality requirements.
  • Inputs and analyzes incoming customer design data.
  • Creates photo-tools, net lists, CNC files according to current production capabilities and methods.
  • Generates panelized tooling, coupons, AOI data, and PCB layout according to current quality procedures.
