About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Call Off Coverage Security Officer for a site in Huntsville, Alabama. The officer provides surveillance and security coverage in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses, monitoring systems and environments to identify threats before they escalate. The schedule varies as needed, and the officer must be available to cover call-offs across first, second, and third shifts, weekends, and holidays. The position pays $17.00 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must have a valid Alabama Security License.
• Must have open availability to cover call-offs, including first, second, and third shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must successfully pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
