About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position within the Enterprise Corporate - Patient Access & Care Team (PACT). The role involves performing telephone triage for a diverse patient population, assessing care needs, and collaborating to provide clinical solutions. The nurse will conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in an untraditional environment, participate in team conferences, and assess patient education needs. Key responsibilities include notifying practices, physicians, and managed care clients of all patient encounters and reporting operational concerns to designated leadership.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of applicable state required.
- Must apply for and maintain a South Carolina Registered Nurse license and any other Registered Nurse licenses from states that new clients may reside in.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience preferred.
- Previous triage experience preferred.
- BSN preferred.
- Experience in telephone triage, pediatrics and ED triage is desired.
Responsibilities
- Performs telephone triage with diverse patient population.
- Assesses needed care and collaborates with patients, and others, to provide clinical solutions.
- Provides comprehensive nursing assessment in an untraditional nursing environment.
- Actively participates in team conferences and helps assess patient education needs.
- Notifies each practice, physician, and/or managed care client of all encounters with patients, parents or managed care clients regardless of follow-up needs before office opening.
- Notifies designated leadership of operational concerns.
