About The Position

First United Bank is accepting applications for a Full Time Call Center Representative in our Operations Center. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for supporting all products and services in our retail and commercial lines of business via inbound and outbound customer service calls concerning bank operations, regulations, transaction processing, and other inquiries as required by business objectives. Additional responsibilities include: Identifying customer needs and suggesting appropriate resolutions, products, and services Utilizing technology to support and troubleshoot online services, gathering information, and tracking customer interactions This position will require you to be on the phone most of the workday Scan customer and bank documentation into our information system throughout the day Maintenance customer accounts Stuff and send out various notices from the bank to customers Send documentation to the branches for customer’s attention Participate in job specific training, various bank training programs, and complies with BSA, AML and all bank policies and procedures as required

Requirements

  • Consistent customer care experience, preferably in financial services
  • Candidate must have a High School diploma or GED
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft programs
  • Ability to meet training standards is also required
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours based on business needs.
  • The schedule will include one weekday off, with required availability to work on Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Call Center experience is desirable
