About The Position

The ideal candidate for this role provides a consistently excellent customer service experience by maintaining the highest degree of courtesy, confidentiality and professionalism. Processes orders for material or merchandise received by telephone, email and fax. Demonstrating drive and enthusiasm while handling customer orders, questions, and complaints and billing inquiries. This is not a remote position. You will be working in a call center within our distribution center located in Jamaica NY.

Requirements

1+ years working in a goal focused, high volume, customer service oriented environment (ex: call center, office)
Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Ability to navigate through several systems/applications simultaneously
Display a positive attitude
Reliable attendance
Ability to work weekends- weekends are a must
Professional written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Bilingual Spanish a plus!

Responsibilities

Answers inbound calls for Order delivery, responds to questions
Perform Outbound calls to customers
Communicates with customers
Keys orders via numeric
Process Special Delivery orders
Processes all Fax orders
Completes Driver Notes
Process late orders, Credit and Complaint forms
Researches and compiles information
Attends meetings and serves on temporary committees, as requested
Ensures office equipment is in working order
Attends assigned training sessions
Performs additional duties and assignments, as requested
