About The Position

The Call Center Representative is responsible for providing high-quality customer service to patients through inbound phone support. This role assists patients with questions related to care coordination, insurance authorizations, and appointment scheduling. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare call center environment.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in a call center or customer support environment
  • Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining professionalism
  • Service-oriented mindset with a focus on patient experience
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or medical office experience
  • Knowledge of HMO insurance plans
  • Experience with insurance verification and patient services

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound patient calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
  • Assist patients with inquiries regarding healthcare services, referrals, and authorizations
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate care as needed
  • Verify patient information and insurance eligibility
  • Accurately document calls and patient interactions in systems
  • Follow established call center, customer service, and compliance guidelines
  • Escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution and patient satisfaction
