Call Center Representative - Part Time
About The Position
Under the supervision of the Nutritional Services Patient Services Coordinator, this role facilitates patients’ food requests using the computer system and processes paperwork for the area per established procedures. The position involves reviewing patient listings, checking special services, diet orders, LDA’s and preferences, and making necessary adjustments to patients’ files. It also includes generating meal tallies and maintenance reports, processing Epic printouts, and following through on all tray requests, supplemental orders, allergies, and diet changes. Additionally, the role requires accurately entering tube feeding orders from Epic into Hospitality Suite and ensuring correct products with labels are sent.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Word processing skills
Responsibilities
- Remains professional and follows through with patient, nurse, RD or Coordinator for all phone calls as needed
- Reviews patient listing, checks special services, diet orders, LDA’s and preferences; makes adjustments to patients’ files as needed
- Generates meal tallies and maintenance reports as needed
- Processes Epic printouts; follows through on all tray requests, supplemental orders, allergies and diet changes and makes appropriate adjustments to patients’ files
- Enters the tube feeding order from Epic into Hospitality Suite accurately, sends correct products with labels attached appropriately
