About The Position

Pinnacle GI Partners is hiring a full-time Call Center Agent for its Rochester Hills, Michigan office. The agent is the first point of contact for patients and physician offices, providing customer service, scheduling appointments and procedures, coordinating communications among departments, and supporting a positive patient experience. The position offers a weekday schedule with no nights or weekends; shifts are eight hours, with start and end times varying according to department schedules. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Medical office experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively by phone and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Previous patient scheduling experience.
• EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service to patients and physician offices.
• Schedule office visits, procedures, and diagnostic appointments efficiently and accurately.
• Educate patients about procedure preparations and appointment requirements.
• Screen, document, and route calls and messages to the appropriate departments.
• Verify insurance participation and update patient insurance information as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic information and records.
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff regarding scheduling preferences and requests.
• Use EMR systems and office technology to support daily operations.
• Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy standards.
