About The Position
This is a seasonal position at Big Bear Mountain Resort. The Call Center Agent serves as the first line of contact for guests, primarily responsible for booking products in advance of their visit and answering inquiries about the resort. This role requires special attention to first-time visitors and guests with complex requests, necessitating specific resort knowledge and attention to detail. Agents may also be involved in outbound sales campaigns and other special product promotions as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Calm and collective demeanor, especially during challenging calls.
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Capacity to read, understand, and comply with documents such as guest policies and procedure manuals.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain accuracy.
- Ability to interact comfortably, enthusiastically, and professionally while advising customers on specific products and area knowledge.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows-based applications.
- Sales and/or reservation experience.
