About The Position

The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing remote, on-demand support for legal projects for client law firms. Due to increased demand, we are interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated California Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal. Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 10-20+ hours per week.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
• Direct experience in California personal injury litigation matters
• Prior experience handling Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and/or Premises Liability cases
• Strong knowledge of California civil litigation procedures, deadlines, and court requirements
• Experience with e-filing, calendaring, and litigation case management
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who can take initiative and work independently

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with CloudLex strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently manage active litigation files with minimal supervision
• Draft discovery and support litigation matters from inception through trial
• Utilize e-filing, calendaring, and litigation case management systems
• Become proficient with Eve Legal AI tools and workflows
