Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A technical aptitude.
  • SAFELY work in an industrial environment using approved procedures, i.e., Lockout/tagout, confined space, line break, right to know, PPE, etc.
  • Have experience in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in a technical field such as Electro-Mechanical.
  • Relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Food manufacturing.
  • Previous calibration experience is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in regulated (FDA, USDA, etc.) or GMP-industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performing calibrations on a wide variety of equipment, utilizing calibration standards for pressure, temperature, flow, conductivity, and other equipment functions.
  • Competently operate calibration standards, hand and power tools.
  • Filter certification, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and performing preventative/predictive maintenance.
  • Understand and utilize Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) when completing assigned work and paperwork such as work orders, SOPs, SAP (CMMS System), and equipment logbooks.
  • Learn and comply with regulatory requirements such as APHIS, VMD & OSHA.
  • Perform Hazardous Waste Pickup and understand and comply with hazardous waste training.
  • Perform HAZWOPER clean up.
  • Actively develop skills by completing training and job progression steps.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
