About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to perform calibration activities in support of manufacturing and inspection functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Working knowledge of programmable controllers
  • Familiarity with and working knowledge of equipment and machines within all areas
  • Strong mechanical background
  • Working knowledge of various hand tools
  • Experience with computers, data entry and Microsoft Office
  • Must have knowledge or aptitude in the following areas: Electricity/Electronics, Machinery repair, Reading, understanding and drawing prints and schematics, Record keeping

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibrations on all measurement devices used in the production and inspection of COOK Endoscopy devices.
  • Maintain and review calibration system and documentation for compliance with FDA, cGMP and ISO 13485 requirements.
  • Repair/replace damaged equipment as needed.
  • Perform metrology training for Production and Inspection employees as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Responsible for ensuring that calibrations and product testing are performed in a timely manner.
  • Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
  • Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
  • Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
  • Ability to read/write/understand product documentation, and written instructions.
  • Access to confidential controlled documentation, processes and equipment.
