About The Position

Woodward is seeking a Calibration Technician to support laboratory and calibration equipment at its Loves Park Campus. This position is on 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday, 1:30pm – 10:00pm) and will support the laboratory and calibration equipment on the shop floor. Responsibilities

Perform Equipment Calibration: Conduct routine calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment according to established standard operating procedures.

Support Maintenance Activities: Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of calibration tools and systems under the guidance of senior technicians.

Communicate Technical Information: Share calibration results and technical information effectively with team members to facilitate collaborative operations.
Executes calibration of instruments and equipment according to established standard operating procedures to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Documents calibration procedures, results, and maintenance activities meticulously to comply with quality assurance standards.
Detects and addresses common calibration problems by applying analytical methods and following predefined protocols to maintain measurement integrity.
Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on calibration tools and machinery to sustain optimal functionality and performance.
Shares complex technical data and calibration outcomes effectively within the team to support collaborative objectives and enhance overall quality.
