About The Position

Woodward is seeking a Calibration Technician to support laboratory and calibration equipment at its Loves Park Campus. This position is on 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday, 1:30pm – 10:00pm) and will support the laboratory and calibration equipment on the shop floor. Responsibilities

  • Perform Equipment Calibration: Conduct routine calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment according to established standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain Calibration Records: Accurately document calibration data and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Support Maintenance Activities: Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of calibration tools and systems under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Adhere to Quality Standards: Follow all quality guidelines and protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of calibration processes.
  • Communicate Technical Information: Share calibration results and technical information effectively with team members to facilitate collaborative operations.
  • Executes calibration of instruments and equipment according to established standard operating procedures to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
  • Documents calibration procedures, results, and maintenance activities meticulously to comply with quality assurance standards.
  • Detects and addresses common calibration problems by applying analytical methods and following predefined protocols to maintain measurement integrity.
  • Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on calibration tools and machinery to sustain optimal functionality and performance.
  • Shares complex technical data and calibration outcomes effectively within the team to support collaborative objectives and enhance overall quality.
