About The Position
Cascade Engineering Services is looking for an Electrical Calibration Technician, from entry-level to senior-level, to support precision measurement and test equipment calibration. This role is ideal for someone experienced with electrical instrumentation, troubleshooting, and maintaining compliance with calibration standards in a lab environment.
Requirements
- Minimum AA degree, formal PMEL training, or equivalent
- Must be able to perform general mathematical, statistical and algebraical functions
- Must possess very good written and oral, communication skills
- Computer skills such as use of MS Word, Outlook and Excel
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of Calibration/Metrology experience
- Experience calibrating digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators
- Intermediate ability to troubleshoot repair, align and optimize precision equipment
- Familiar with ISO 17025:2017 quality systems
- Experience with RF or high-frequency equipment calibration
- Prior experience supporting audits or quality systems
Responsibilities
- Calibrate electrical test and measurement equipment
- Maintain calibration standards
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of precision equipment
- Collect, record, and summarize, data during calibration
- Identifying abnormalities, trends and/or predicting future values
- Identify equipment out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action by adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, in accordance with Cascade policies and procedures
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
