Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. The Supplier Quality and Process Approval (SQ&PA) organization is looking to add a Calibration Engineer to our team. This position assures that all Measurement & Test Equipment (M&TE) meet the requirements as specified in PWA-Material Control Lab manual and other Aerospace requirements. It will support Quality, Production, and Non-Production initiatives utilizing CORE tools. Duties include servicing & calibrating M&TE, Capability & Suitability testing of M&TE, non-conformance investigations. Work activity is 80% bench lab work and 20% desk work. The Supplier Quality and Process Approval (SQ&PA) calibration team is responsible for Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) calibration for Pratt & Whitney production gages. Timely and accurate calibrations for Dimensional or Electrical Discipline. Perform task prioritizations. Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions where some ingenuity and judgment are required. Interacts with other functional groups (engineering, manufacturing, management) on routine tech.
