About The Position

They offer a variety of goods and services including grocery, liquor, pharmacy, petroleum, home and building solutions, and agricultural supplies. This position is part of the Bakery department.

Requirements

Recognized training or a minimum of two years’ experience working with all types of dessert cakes, icings and cake decorating techniques.
Good health and health habits - capable of handling ingredient and product rates common in the plant.
Physically able to perform the lifting and carrying required in the department.
Well organized, and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision.
Applicant must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Experience or training in working with chocolate.

Responsibilities

Maintain a positive, professional approach and attitude.
Be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
Complete required production from the production master sheet.
Complete decorating requirements to prepare cakes for sale or shipment.
Mix icing to association standards.
Merchandise completed product on the sales floor.
Ensure high cleanliness and quality standards are maintained in handling all products.
Maintain daily production and ingredient records as required.
Keep clean and in good working order all equipment used in the performance of duties.
Maintain good sanitation standards in the work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
