About The Position

The Cake Decorator & Skilled Finish Clerk is a production clerk in the Department's Manufacturing Section who performs skilled finishing work on cakes and specialty items. The role follows the production schedule; ices cakes and specialty items; applies custom or general decorations; creates artwork; packages products; and produces related novelty items within Department guidelines. The employee may also work at the bakery sales counter as needed. The position is scheduled for 20–30 hours per week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 80 pounds.
• Productivity and organizational ability.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Reliable and dependable.

• Previous experience with bakery finishing and cake decoration.
