Cake Decorator - Part Time
About The Position
The Cake Decorator is a production clerk in the Department’s Manufacturing Section, responsible for skilled finishing work on cakes and specialty items. Primary duties include following the production schedule, icing cakes and specialty items, applying custom or general decorations, creating artwork, packaging products, and producing related novelty items within departmental guidelines. The employee may also work at the bakery sales counter on occasion or as needed. The position requires availability for 20–30 hours per week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 80 pounds. Important work considerations include productivity, organizational ability, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and reliability.
