About The Position
Under the direct supervision of a Bakery Manager, the Cake Decorator prepares and decorates high-volume cakes and desserts using standardized recipes. The role also performs related preparation and sanitation duties as required. The work takes place in a fast-paced grocery store environment and requires a variety of hours, including nights and weekends. Physical requirements include heavy lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements. A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for positions involving food preparation, handling, or serving. The hourly pay range is minimum wage, depending on location, up to $18.50.
