About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Bakery Manager, the Cake Decorator prepares and decorates a high volume of cakes and desserts in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines. The position prepares ingredients and decorating materials, decorates and finishes cakes and desserts to meet quality and presentation standards, and performs related preparation, cleaning, and sanitation duties as needed. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. The work environment is typical of a fast-paced grocery store and includes heavy lifting, standing, walking, bending, and kneeling, as well as meeting the visual and auditory requirements needed to perform assigned duties. A valid Food Handler Card or equivalent food safety certification is required.
