About The Position

We are looking for a Cage Supervisor to join our team. This person will report to the Director of Finance

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to be approved and maintain licensure by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board gaming.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Able to perform repetitive motion tasks.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising various cage personnel on assigned shift to ensure accurate workflow of the overall cage operation.
  • Ensure all cage and company policies and procedures are understood and followed.
  • Create and designate breaks for staff to ensure a balanced working environment.
  • Delegate shift, window assignments to cage staff.
  • Interact with various department leadership as necessary.
  • Maintain records and reports such as cage variances, attendance, MB balance sheets, customer complaints, etc.
  • Assist the cage areas when needed. This includes but not limited to assisting with counting cash, making cassettes, servicing customer in the window.
  • Review cage shift activities with incoming Cage Supervisors through shift reports.
  • Interview and train new cage staff when required.
  • Assist Cage Shift Managers with developing staff.
  • When necessary, issue disciplinary counseling to staff.
  • Complete performance evaluations for cage staff in line with company standards as assigned.
  • Answer customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Other duties assigned and/or authorized by PGCB.

  • Read, write and understand instructions from leadership.
  • Analyze and interpret shift needs.
  • Read complex documents and understand state and local tax requirements, gaming laws and regulations.
  • Solve complex problems.
  • Manage time effectively for proper cage flow.
  • Must be able to distinguish between colors.
  • Knowledge of various cage policy and procedures, and companywide standard policies as they relate to the job.
  • Ability to perform assigned job duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
  • Flexibility is essential for scheduling including holiday, nights and weekends.
