About The Position

The Cage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing cage operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, and assisting management. This role involves communication, transaction verification, equipment troubleshooting, and training team members. The position requires a high school diploma, 1-3 years of related experience, and the ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree required
  • 1 – 3 years related experience required
  • Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
  • Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently communicates operational information and updates based on shift worked to keep all Cage management informed.
  • Reads all internal memos and huddle sheets before the shift to stay informed and conducts Team Member huddles at the request of the Cage Manager.
  • Ensures the proper opening, closing, and balancing of all Cage assets and communicates any issues or concerns immediately with the Cage Manager and/or the Director of Cash Operations.
  • Assists the Cage Manager, by conducting transaction verifications to avoid discrepancies, and ensure procedural compliance.
  • Recommends procedural changes to the Cage Manager when necessary and assists in the communication of any updates/changes with all Team Members.
  • Addresses machine and/or equipment and/or software malfunctions and reports any discrepancies to the Cage Manager and/or Director of Cash Operations immediately.
  • May conduct minor repairs only to ensure workflow.
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of cage equipment operation and assists Team Members in the absence of the Cage Manager.
  • In the absence of the Cage Manager will contact Human Resources for assistance with missing name tags to ensure compliance with company appearance standards.
  • Advises the Cage Manager and/or Director of Cage Operations of any noted infractions of the appearance standards.
  • Responsible and accountable for compliance with all key control standards while on duty.
  • Immediately reports any issues, concerns, or needs for assistance to the Cage Manager and/or the Director of Cash Operations.
  • Provides training to other Team Members at the request of the Cage Manager and/or the Director of Cash Operations.
