About The Position

Supervise and direct employees, plan and assign daily goals, tasks and assignments. Will oversee all cage operations, monitor all paperwork performed by cashiers for accuracy. Ensure that excellent customer relations are maintained. Adheres to a high level of confidentiality. The Cage/Vault Supervisor ensures that all cashiers follow established cash handling procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate staff effectively.
  • Previous cash handling experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Ability to do heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to visually verify all transactions.
  • Requires dependable, mature individual.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for proper operation of entire cage department during scheduled shift (ticket sales, cashiers, jackpot, vault).
  • Is responsible for training new employees.
  • Ensures that all employees follow policy and procedures.
  • Ensure that each shift is adequately staffed.
  • Ensures proper tax forms are issued for prize winner(s).
  • Responsible for Title 31 paperwork during shift.
  • Responsible for contacting Surveillance when any suspicious activity occurs.
  • Monitors and controls all paperwork performed by cage personnel.
  • Fills out appropriate paper for variances.
  • Assigns cashier banks.
  • Issues key and ensure key log is complete.
  • Maintains excellent customer relations between cashiers and guests.
  • Corrects any inappropriate conduct.
  • Responsible for monitoring time and attendance for cage employees (including breaks).
  • Responsible for reporting Incident Reports to the Cash Operations Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
