Provides a high level of guest service while adhering to established department and property policies and procedures while working in the Cage and other Cage related areas. Supervises cashiers, Sr. Cashiers, and Supervisors. Responsibilities include greeting and servicing customers, maintaining knowledge of casino amenities, conducting pre-shift meetings, handling financial transactions, training employees, balancing funds, complying with AML regulations, conducting one-on-one meetings, completing evaluations, report writing, email communications, safeguarding guest information, verifying guest identification, communicating pertinent information to employees, performing various monetary transactions, assisting in safeguarding company assets, building cassettes, balancing bill validators, responding to guest disputes, handling guest complaints, cleaning and maintaining areas, and working collaboratively with other casino departments. The role also involves maintaining cage operations, supervising cash flow, ensuring security, overseeing the overall casino cage operation and personnel during an assigned shift, preparing weekly team member schedules, and conducting team member meetings. The Cage Shift Manager resolves disputes that cage team members cannot resolve or escalates them. Performs Cage Cashier duties and other assigned tasks as needed.
