About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery for dumping and emptying cages while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The primary task is to ensure the birds are properly loaded onto the conveyor belts and that coops are returned properly to the forklift driver. The role also involves the ability to catch stray birds. This is a dusty and noisy work environment. The employee will operate a dump system and rotate to various positions within the department, performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, and stoop
• Ability to perform repetitive gripping, pushing, pulling, and bending
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Maximum of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire
• 180 days (6 months) waiting period for rehire consideration
