About The Position
This position is responsible for the efficient operation of and any adjustments made to the Bright Coop Dumper throughout the production day. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. Certain roles at Tyson require background checks. If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively
- Must adhere to the CAS Department Animal Welfare Standards and practices
- Must meet production speed requirements
- Must only allow minimal downtime per day
- Must be able to work independently and make decisions
- Willingness to learn new ideas
- Willingness to assist in other areas of production and work overtime as required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively
Responsibilities
- Ensure all birds are removed from cages according to Animal Welfare Standards
- Ensure the flow of birds to the CAS is consistent and adjusted as needed and/or directed
- Wash cages
- Remove DOAs from hatch area
- Other duties as assigned including Live Hanging as needed
