Cage Cashier
About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate handling of guest and company funds by processing all transactions and documentation in accordance with gaming regulations, company policies and procedures. The Cage Cashier will exchange gaming chips and tickets, cash checks, and process markers and fills. They will maintain their bank balance and safeguard casino cage assets during their assigned shift. Additionally, the role involves assisting customers with filling credit applications and maintaining all customer credit files, issuing window markers and safety deposit boxes to guests, and entering markers, fills, and credit slips into the computer. The Cage Cashier will also assist guests with inquiries and advise on current promotions, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure their work station is fully stocked. Performance of duties requires standing for the majority of the shift. Other duties may be assigned by management.
